Senior Examiner procedure

REQUIREMENTS

Must meet requirements as SkillTest examiner on relevant class/type (minimum 20 tests/checks) and hold same privileges and examiner certificate as applicant.

PRIVILEGES

The privileges for Senior Examiners are to conduct examiners assessment of competence on Examiners. However Senior Examiners cannot perform Examiner assessments on other Senior Examiners unless specifically approved to do so.

Senior Examiners may also be approved to conduct Examiner seminars and standardization courses. This approval will generally lie with the specific Senior Examiner and will not be part of an ATO approval. For DTOs (gliders and balloons) this approval will lie at the DTO.

Senior Examiners requesting this approval must provide course documentation showing compliance with EASA and DK requirements. This documentation must be approved before use, and it must be expected that these seminars are oversighted regularly.

Only Dk certified Senior Examiners and Examiners meeting all Senior Examiner requirements including all FCL.1000.c Senior Examiner recurrent requirements, may tutor these courses.

Upon approval the relevant Senior Examiner will receive a letter confirming these privileges.

This letter may upon request from the Senior Examiners include location (ATO or other), but the approval lies with the Senior Examiner and not the location.
